Limnephilus
looks like one of the species in the L. castor group but I cannot tell which species from a photo.

L. castor
There's no page for L. castor. Should I request one be added?

it is not L. castor
And I was wrong about it being within the L. castor GROUP of species - The group name is actually the Limnephilus morrisoni group. I just see L. castor so frequently L. castor that is what popped into my mind. Glad you wrote back so I can fix it.

I do not know which species within the L. morrisonni group it is and I cannot tell the species in the L. morrisoni group them apart without looking at their private parts. So, unless you kept the specimen, leave it at Limnephilus sp.

Does the same hold true
for this post ?

YUP
interesting - I could change the text in that posting, but not in your most recent one. sorry about the mistake on my part.

Making changes.
I read somewhere in one of the forums that a comment can be changed only if it hasn't been replied to, which makes sense - changing a previous comment could make a reply look silly; it could also distort the deductions used to get from A to Z.

As for making ID mistakes, I think I hold the record on that.   :-P)
