Robber basking in the sands - Laphria saffrana
2 miles north of House, Neshoba County, Mississippi, USA

Such a pretty little fly. I was camera-less when I first saw it but was glad to come back 90 minutes later and find the fly still in the viscinity. Laphria saffrana I believe.
