Disonycha conjuncta on Polygo
Disonycha conjuncta on Polygonum sp. The reddish color fades to gray and that is the color used in keys to the genus.

Lovely image of a lovely specimen of what is probably a species of Disonycha. They are among the largest of the "flea beetles."
