Yes, male.
Very good. The all-black, l-o-o-o-ng antennae leave little doubt this is a male Synhalonia, one of the Eucerini apid bees.

 
I don't find . . .
. . . a genus page for Synhalonia. Are you confident enough on the ID that it is time to set one up? If not I will move to Eucerini.
