Cellophane Bee - Colletes inaequalis

Cellophane Bee - Colletes inaequalis
Willet Creek, Toronto, Southern Ontario, Ontario, Canada
May 7, 2011
I came across this (and many more) Bee on the top of a Sandy Hill near a Creek. there were scores of these mounds, with Bees both leaving and returning to them.Looks like an Adrena I shot the other week. I am hoping to return to the site tomorrow morning, so I should get some full images. I included a shot of the mound for reference. The bee is just beginning to emerge.
