Corsair Assassin Bug - Rasahus??? - Rasahus biguttatus

Corsair Assassin Bug - Rasahus??? - Rasahus biguttatus
Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, USA
May 10, 2006
Size: ~30 mm
A couple of weeks ago, I submitted a bug that was identified as a Corsair Assassin Bug, genus Rasahus.

This guy looks to be the same, except that he has a striped fringe around his body and has considerably more orange on his "shoulders".

You can clearly see his dagger, stealthily concealed beneath his chin.

Moved
Moved from Rasahus.

I agree, Rasahus
We do have another image with that striped edge showing (below) - I think the technical term is connexivum. Perhaps a different species, but same genus.
