Tingidae: Corythuca arcuata? -
Corythucha arcuata
Fisher, Polk County, Minnesota, USA

Size: Length ~ 3 mm
This specimen was captured while I strolled beneath a stand of oak trees this afternoon. Could it be the Oak Lace Bug? Hoping for comfirmation or correction. Thank you! ;-)

Corythucha arcuata
If you were around oak trees, the Oak Lace Bug, Corythucha arcuata is correct. There's a very similar species, C. ulmi, but that one feeds on elm trees. Thanks for paying attention to the surrounding plants. That helped decide on the ID.

Thanks, Laura!
Thanks for the help! Yes. This specimen was collected from leaves of Oak Trees (which species of Oak I can't say, but I certainly can find out!) Happily, no elms are found at this location. ;-)
