Nice
Wasn't expecting a new species for BugGuide. Muchas gracias.

pleasure's all mine, to say the least
adding a sp. this large from the best covered part of the country, and a member of a wildly popular and photogenic group, too --this really amounts to something! amazing.

I concur...
This species seems to be out pretty early in the season, at which time it is attracted to lights if it is warm enough. I've encountered less than a handful over my many years - I seem to encounter it in student collections more than anywhere else.

Moved tentatively -- Ben my man! doing awesome!
Moved from ID Request.

from Doug Yanega:
"No mistaking that particular critter. I wasn't under the impression they were that rare, but then again, there is no recorded host plant, and they have a fairly short active season, so maybe they have a relatively uncommon host plant. The only source of data I had was L&C(1), and I think they said almost nothing about distribution."
