what caused these galls?
I have similar shapes on my grape leaves. But they are candy corn colored. What makes them? Are they beneficial should I burn them?

This might help as well...

These galls are caused by....
midge flies. They are used to incubate eggs of the flies. If your galls have an exit hole, no worries about burning them. If they don't, you'd be burning insects... Hope that answers your question.
