The ladybug Emerges - Harmonia axyridis

The ladybug Emerges - Harmonia axyridis
Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, USA
May 13, 2006
Size: 5mm
Lady bug emerging from its pupae. 5 minute intervals except for last frame which was taken 12hrs after it emerged.

Is this the same one as your previous post (below)?
It's on a different kind of leaf, but I wondered if you relocated it.

This is definitely Harmonia axyridis - I'm moving it to that page in the guide.

Different Leaf
That was my 1st attempt. I got pictures of it emerging on the leaf but it was of poor quality. I found another one a few days later on a pine tree type bush in my front yard. I repeated the process with better lighting and camera settings. Both specimens were released unharmed after there photo shoot so that they may dispatch aphids.

So, the other one was Harmonia too?
If so, you can tag and move those shots from ID Request to the guide.

it
would look much better if you separated and posted each picture up by itself without the green frame
