Sheild Bug?
Comment from David Rider..."This is actually not a true stink bug, but is a member of the closely related family Acanthosomatidae. It is Elasmucha lateralis. True stink bugs (Pentatomidae) have feet (tarsi) that are comprised of three segments; acanthosomatid's feet only have two segments." See guide pages here.

Thanks- ^_^

that's interesting- I never thought to look at their feet and count parts-cool. Now I have to go count feet parts on some of my other "stink bug" photos. ^_^

and I should mention, I'm not sure it's Elasmucha lateralis. That was just something I copied for the rest of the comment.

It doesn't seem to match those photos-but there are some many variations....I'll take your word for it.. ^_^

Yes
It's best to agree with Eric, he has much more experience than most.
