Sac spider, Clubionid? - Cheiracanthium mildei - male

Sac spider, Clubionid? - Cheiracanthium mildei - Male
Hayward, Alameda County, California, USA
June 4, 2011
Size: 9mm
This guy ran to hide when I stepped outside. In a container, he spun a loose, thin "lean-to" against the side, and remains under it even when I open the top.

Moved
Moved from Spiders. I spent an hour on this one this morning. =] Yes I must be nuts. Anyway, I think I learned something substantial for the future. In comparing Miturgidae with Clubionidae the keys say that Clubionidae has the Anterior Lateral Spinnerets larger. This is easily seen in the following image

Also, I'm not sure if any Clubionidae have that spike off the male palp. That is also the feature that separates C. mildei from C. inclusum.

Only an hour? ;-)
Thanks--I'll have to see if I can catch another one and have a closer look.

Moved from ID Request.

Miturgid
Cheiracanthium? The eyes don't seem right for a Clubionid.

I considered that
But in my second photo I think I see the setae on the front of the abdomen referred to here in Identification notes: http://bugguide.net/node/view/3383
