I found quite a few of these
in the arthropod-rich flotsam I collected April 19.

Staphylinidae: Euaesthetinae: Euaesthetus sp.
It is a staph, a very nice one. A fair number of species, of which I will make no attempt to identify.

Something makes me think it's not a rove.
