Blow Fly on Pawpaw flower - Calliphora vicina

Blow Fly on Pawpaw flower - Calliphora vicina
Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, New York, USA
May 24, 2011
This fly may be a natural pollinator of pawpaw (Asimina trilboba). The flowers are liver colored and apparently do not produce nectar, so they don't attract bees. They may smell like carrion to a fly, but I can't detect it. ID help appreciated.

Why Calliphoridae
rather than Sarcophagidae?

Color?
I don't remember why I moved it. Most likely because the slightly shining color is more like Calliphoridae. It also has more than three stripes, excluding the common Sarcophaginae.

Thanks, John.
I see it looks similar to this blue blowfly.
