E. umbrosus
This shows a specimen of E. umbrosus; adults of this species are attracted to volatiles given off by dying/dead conifers, as their larvae are subcortical under bark of the same dead conifers. Many hundreds have been collected in short periods of time in Lindgren funnel traps, especially when baited with these volatiles (e.g. alpha-pinene). Very nice!

sure --nice!
