Yellowjacket Hover Fly - Milesia virginiensis

I flipped it up with my plastic metric rule (I do occasionally use for intended purpose :) and it made one last flight around before returning to this position. It never moved again. Reminds me of the final scene from Bladerunner, "... Time to die."
