Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Cyrtepistomus castaneus [H. abducens looks *very* different]
does such thing as 'Snout Weevil' exist??

oops
regrettably. I saw a photo that was miss identified. However there are many photos of "snout beetles" in BugGuides.net

http://bugguide.net/index.php?q=search&keys=snout+weevil&search=Search

"snout beetle" is a recognized, 'legitimate' common name
could you please refer me to that misidentified photo? [pls give the url or just the image #]
it is very important to correct any ID errors that may linger in the guide. thanks.

Regrettably, no
I have looked several times and I cannot find that photo.
