Moth with white aviator spectacle markings - Megalographa biloba

Moth with white aviator spectacle markings - Megalographa biloba
El Cerrito, Contra Costa County, California, USA
June 13, 2011
Size: est. 18mm
Seen in a suburban yard in afternoon. Fluttered out of the grass onto a shrub as I walked nearby, but held still for many photos once it was on the shrub, even when I moved nearby branches and brought it into direct sunlight. First time I've seen it. Suspect it's something obvious to an expert, but I didn't find it by browsing the moth superfamily and most promising family and genus images. Thanks in advance for the ID help!

Not an expert but...
...how about a Bilobed Looper (Megalographa biloba)?

Nice shots!

Belated thanks for the ID sug
Belated thanks for the ID suggestion--to my untrained eye, Bilobed Looper certainly looks like an excellent candidate!
