Size: about 10mm
About a dozen of these were hovering around the tips of Eastern white pine branches covered in aphids and ants. None had obvious ovipositors so I assume they were male Ichneumons.

It bears a resemblance to Exenterus:



Might be something in that neighborhood, at any rate. Dr. Carlson will let you if I'm anywhere close.
