This was captured in a Malaise trap in a xeric area that was mostly scrubby flatwoods and sandhill habitats. If another angle or a closeup of a certain external structure would help with identification, please let me know.

I don't know my bees, but from Kimberly Huntzinger's discoverlife key and the new images, I think that that's what this is.
