Sminthurus mencenbergae

Is it . . .
immature?

It is an adult.
Collembola are wingless hexapods. Collembola are not related to insects. They are related to Crustacea. Collembola are the first terrestrial crustaceans, about 400 MYA old.

Immature Collembola look exactly as their parents, but they are smaller. They do not have any metamorphosis.

For an intro in the world of Collembola feel free to visit collembola.org.
