Saw this guy several times over the course of about a week. Each time was around 1-3am, pitch black besides the light from the computer monitor. He's extremely quick. When I turned the lights on he stopped dead in his tracks. When I got in too close with the camera, he dropped about five feet to the floor. I have several other photos, but these two I'm uploading are about the best. Sorry, none of the eyes from the front, I think this is the best one for that. He's missing a leg (that's how I knew it was him each night).

Not sure this is a male -
but the family (Gnaphosidae) and maybe even the species look right to me... Please wait for an expert to comment.
