Zelotes
Hah, now I understand why I'm having trouble coming up with a suitable (Zelotes) species -- I was operating under the assumption that these were collected somewhere in Indiana (I simply glanced at the return address I had saved). Will have to look to look at the more southerly latitudes...

Camillina pulchra (pulcher in Platnick & Shadab, 1982)
More southerly latitudes indeed -- this species originates in southern Brazil and Argentina, but is an introduction to the States; has been found so far in Alabama, Florida and Texas. Not only a new BG species, but a new genus for BG: Camillina.

The characteristics separating the genus from Zelotes: "PME usually oval, larger than PLE, closely spaced; PER slightly procurved" (Ubick et al., 2005).

Photographs tomorrow!

thats great
I'll notify Beatriz for her list of non-natives

A new genus
great job guys.

yeah be careful
there were IN, KY, and FL spiders in what I've sent you; hopefully this will be a new Zelotes for the guide

pool spiders
Interesting leg shapes. I assume these are ground spiders based on the spinnerets.
