Red bug in house - Leptoglossus

Red bug in house - Leptoglossus
Los Angeles County, California, USA
June 21, 2011
Found this on the wall of our house, We had just brought a number of apricots in to the house from the tree. Is this a stage between the nymph and the adult? It seems a lot redder.

I unlinked these from the others.
There's just not enough of an association to indicate that they are the same species--and they are certainly not the same individual insects, which is what linking is for. (I left the previous nymphs and adults linked only because you indicated that the former "morphed into" the latter.)
