Beetle - Priognathus monilicornis

Beetle - Priognathus monilicornis
Antrim, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
June 21, 2011
Size: 6.2mm
I found this one on foliage in the woods.

cool. must be it, maybe a petite male?
D&A cite size 8-11 mm, but wild variation can be expected in saproxylic beetles. hope Don sees it and confirms.

Moved from Beetles.

Does have more of a distinct Priognathus monilicornis look about it. Please wait for confirmation, but fantastic image of this beast!

Priognathus monilicornis
It does look like a good possibility. I noticed the one from Oregon doesn't have the same rounded pronotum as this or my other one. Is that just geographic variation?
