Hmm, I don't think this is Plauditus dubius. It is definitely a male though b/c the turbinate eyes are clearly visible. If I had to guess, I would say this is probably a Heterocloeon anoka because of the 'bell-bottom like' tibia.

Jeff: Thanks for those comments. I have the specimen and just thoroughly examined it. The tibial character actually works quite good for separating the genera, and now I know the "vertexal plates" are good indicators of males. Scrutinized a tarsal claw for two rows of teeth with a compound microscope, and still see only one, but it is of the Heterocloeon form (teeth more even in length). Compared side-by-side with a female Plauditus dubius they are indeed quite different.
