newly eclosed caterpillars

newly eclosed caterpillars
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
June 21, 2011
Here's a shot of some of the caterpillars that eclosed. I must have found these eggs early enough so that none were parasitized. I placed the leaf in my wall garden since I now have enough other projects going on that I didn't think I could also raise any of these. Perhaps I will find some of the caterpillars as they are growing so I'll check the area periodically.
