This is from last September, I have tried to make the photo easier to view or rather the grasshopper easier to pick out.

more often seen in spring
this is a female Southern Green-striped Grasshopper -
Chortophaga australior
(leaning a lot toward
C. viridifasciata
- the two "species" blend in that region, and it's often impossible to call individuals as one or the other).
