Black Wolf Spider - Allocosa

Black Wolf Spider - Allocosa
St. James, Phelps County, Missouri, USA
June 20, 2011
I think this is Genus Allocosa and if so there are no examples from Missouri so I wanted to fill that gap. I'm placing these in Lycosidae until confirmed by an expert.

Moved
Moved from Wolf Spiders. I'm not a wolf spider expert, but I think we can say you have the genus correct. I'm afraid we don't really have any wolf spider experts that visit the site. =[
