Focus of new pics
Yeah, I can definitely grab some more pictures. Is there a certain area of the body that I should attempt to get in focus that will help with identification?

These little guys can be so tough to shoot.

 
What we need to know first...
is whether or not the specimens have any eyes. Eyes seem absent in this picture, but they can be quite small. Possibly reddish iso black. Possibly 'separated eyes' (2 black dots at each side of the head).
There is another possibility we need to check: Heteromurus nitidus usually has small reddish eyes (or can be absent).
So try to focus on the head in frontal/dorsal/lateral aspect.
