The elytra look like fire fly but the pronotum and head don't (to me).

Tentative ID backed by Matthew L. Gimmel of Louisiana State Arthropod Museum who kindly compared the image with IDed specimens

Oedemeridae.
Very nice image of one of the "false blister beetles" in the family Oedemeridae. You might check our guide pages to see if we have this genus yet.
