If I was 100% certain
of the ID I would have said. Knowing what something is not does not mean that one knows what it is.
If I have to guess I would say a 2nd generation Meadow Fritillary; but I would really like to see the apex of the fore wing. Let's hope that someone familiar with Wisconsin leps. will offer an ID.
