Mating beetles - Cephaloon ungulare - Male Female
Near Lonesome Lake, Franconia Notch, Grafton County, New Hampshire, USA
June 28, 2011
Size: approximately 2-3cm
Found in leaf litter, walking around and up onto a tree stump. I haven't been able to ID from looking through my field guides, but I may very likely be overlooking something obvious. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
