Is this Culicoides villosipennis?

I looked at the UNH site, and they just list Culicoides variipennis and Culicoides spp.

Could be Culicoides villosipennis
It could be Culicoides villosipennis. Of the Northeastern species known 60 years ago, it would be that one. I don't know what new species are known from the region.
