Earwig - Labia minor - male

Earwig - Labia minor - Male
Fort Washigton, Prince George's County, Maryland, USA
July 5, 2011
Size: 3 mm
from looking thru the guide, I'm thinking Platydracus cinnamopterus

can't be 3 mm, but Platydracus are, like, 5 times as long anyway
Moved from ID Request.

With that back end
its not a rove beetle, its an earwig (Dermaptera)
