Silvery Checkerspot Butterfly - Chlosyne nycteis

Silvery Checkerspot Butterfly - Chlosyne nycteis
Greater City of Sudbury, Fairbank Lake, Ontario, Canada
July 1, 2011
Size: approx 4.5cm wingspan
Orange and black with white markings, its antennae striped white and black! Is it one of the Crescents, Checkerspots, Anglewings, etc. (Nymphalinae)?

I was trying to decide between Silvery and Harris'
as Miles was posting his answer. I agree.

Ilze, would have been great to post the underside too - if you could (I know they don't always cooperate). In this case the underside is very distinct, but the upperside of the two contenders is almost identical.

Moved from ID Request.
