Not an ID - Not an expert
I may even be wrong on genus, but depending on size I would guess a potential queen of either
1st guess) Camponotus pennsylvanicus ((Eastern) black carpenter ant)
2nd guess) Camponotus nearcticus

Most likely Camponotus pennsy
Most likely Camponotus pennsylvanicus. C. herculeanus is also a possibility but I don't think it occurs that far south.
