Tough call
but I'd vouch for misella.

The original description comments on both pronotal and elytral punctures being fine/indistinct for minuta. Gordon only mentions pronotal punctures, but that may be a consequence of how the Microweisea key was set up rather than suggesting elytral punctures were not helpful.

Microweisea minuta or misella, not sure which
M. misella is very widespread and does occur in your area, but Texas also has the extremely similar M. minuta. The main difference is that M. misella has distinct pronotal punctures and M. minuta doesn't; it's hard to tell from these photos, though. Also, M. minuta is usually smaller - 1mm or less - but the smallest M. misella overlaps in size (1-1.5 mm).
