Size: around 30 mm
Sorry Jim, don't mean to rub it in. :) I found this one about 15 feet up a brick wall. They are quite the brick climbers, but not quick to take flight. I chased this one all over the school yard and it never tried to fly.

C. scrutator
I think if the size is that large, it has to be C. scrutator. I believe C. wilcoxi is similar, but smaller.

Always a nice find. I've found them on lighted walls, and saw that they climbed avidly. They seemed to be looking for other insects that were attracted to the lights.

You can't
want to find a soft-bodied mil*lipede as much as I want to find one of these beauties!!
