Size: ~ 4 mm
I followed this little beetle trying to get some better images. Bright sun, you're trying to discern the little moving thing. Anyway, the beetle led me to a rather small Eriogonum reniforme (see adjacent photos).
Any ideas as to who this might be?

This species complex has the
This species complex has the body covered with squamate hairs. From the pattern on the elytra it is probably a female, but there's no way to be sure without pulling the genitalia. Great pictures!!
