Long-necked seed bug - Myodocha serripes

Long-necked seed bug - Myodocha serripes
Wichita, Kansas, USA
May 29, 2006
I think this is a Long-necked seed bug - Myodocha serripes. It's not an excellent image, but it wouldn't hold still, both in a holding chamber or on my finger. I'm adding it as a Kansas representative of the specie. Perhaps I'll find a more cooperative one for a better shot (this one actually found me--I found it on my shoulder after spending time in both my garage and my yard, so have no idea where it came to me from). If I've misidentified it, would appreciate a correction. Thank you.
