Not a byturid, but a female Telmatophilus americanus.

Gross also had a couple pictures of "B. unicolor" that are Telmatophilus. Your Xerasia id is safe.

Byturus unicolor
Based on tightness of the three-knobbed antennal club, general shape, pelosity, color and range, I'm going to place this beetle on the page with other identified members of this species.
