Wolcottia pedalis (LeConte)
I have a feeling I might guilty of this misplacement (via email correspondence) if viewed in a rush on a busy day. In the past 5 or so years I've come to find the occasional specimen of pedalis with weak to VERY prominent markings on the elytra and this specimen is a perfect example of this. I have several like it in my studied loan material, but such markings are VERY unusual.
