Large Crab Spider-any idea which one? - Xysticus elegans
Jim Thorpe, PA 18229, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, USA

Size: 1/2 inch body length
Large and shiny-it's not the best photo-but you can see the markings and things.

I looked through site at the crab spiders but didn't see one just like this-I probably missed it.

I get this particular species every year.

also in pa, have seen this!
This may help id the spider above:

Back in my less than glorious student days, I lived in a large old building in Wilkes Barre, Pa. (Luzerne county). The building was in old grand house converted in apartments, we had steam heat with wall and floor registers. The river was across the street, along with a small park. This was right downtown, with many older buildings nearby. I saw several of these guys in my apartment over the span of a week or so. They were never together, always alone. I moved out by the end of that month due to serious neglect issues in the building.

Thank-you ^_^
Awesome-I knew someone would know. We usually get only one of these around each summer.
