It has a Buckeye look to it
but we don't recognize that yellow down the middle. Maybe one of those other Junonia that are found in Florida and Texas? Do you recognize the plant it is on? The leaf looks very distinctive - big and maple-like. Images can be found in the guide here

And I am sorry, but I do not know what the plant is. I hope to go back to the preserve ("Arbor Hills", in Plano) later this week, and will look at the plant if I do. I remember exactly where I took the pic. Thanks for your help!! :)
