Anytime
H. axyridis is pretty easy to tell. See the black markings on the white pronotum? And how they kind of make a bit of an 'M'? That's pretty diagnostic of this species. I think I've also read from our resident lady beetle expert, Abigail, that the square 'shoulders' in H. axyridis are fairly diagnostic as well.
