Size: 2-3 mm
I collected a few of these guys, with an aspirator, off a live baby rabbit I found in my garden... Apparently, I grow fleas in my garden!
The genal comb angled up to be almost vertical when the flea is standing is indicative of this species.
I found the info from this webiste, about flea reproduction ramping up in concert with mama rabbit hormones fascinating. http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site/accounts/information/Cediopsylla_simplex.html
