wasp - Ancistrocerus spinolae - Female
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
July 19, 2011
Only photo I was able to take of this wasp. My recollection is that the face was a uniform color with no yellow markings. The wasp was feeding on Wild Parsnip.

Ancistrocerus spinolae, female
First live image of this rare species on Bugguide. Congratulations!
