Identification
Head with strongly produced front. Areas of pronotum lateral to midline broadly marked with yellow/brown. Posterior margin of pronotum yellow. Mesonotum with two large yellow markings and two smaller forming semicircle anterior to cruciform elevation. Costa yellow with wing venation yellow to marginal cell which are black. Wing membrane straw-colored. Femur and tibia marked with yellow. Tergum shining, with broad yellow margins bordering abdominal tergites.

Differentiated from O. sugdeni by yellow rather than red markings and O. schaefferi by less pronounced front, yellow wing veins, and extensive yellow/brown on pronotum.
Range
Poorly known, parts of Utah, slightly into Colorado.
Remarks
Formerly considered a subspecies of O. schaefferi
