unknown insect - Macrophya punctumalbum

Shot this insect resting on a hosta leaf in the garden. I've not had much luck online trying to figure out what this specimen is. Any help will be appreciated.

Tenthredinidae, Tenthredininae
Macrophya punctumalbum (Linnaeus). An introduced species known only from eastern Canada and New York. Larvae have been recorded from Fraxinus, Ligustrum, and Syringa.
